Yorkville Cemetery Association seeks help restoring monuments

Yorkville Cemetery was established 145 years ago in 1870, therefore it can be difficult or impossible to locate descendents of those buried there. That is just one of many reasons that the Yorkville Cemetery Association needs help repairing dozens of monuments and stones in poor condition. Some are broken or cracked, some tilting to the point of falling over, and many suffer from the effects of weathering, stains, and even lichens growing on their surfaces...
