Born Monday, June 27, 1921 in Dyer County, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Norman T. Holland and the late Clina Story Holland. Fyrne Lake to host Fishin' for a Mission Blitz bass tournament this weekend

This Saturday, Aug. 29, Fyrne Lake will be a busy place. A bass-fishing tournament, organized by Burks Broadcasting and other sponsors, will take place on the 110-acre Fyrne Lake. The tournament is being held to benefit Mission Blitz, where "local churches come together to be the hands and feet of Christ by performing service projects, providing meals and sharing God's love to individuals in need throughout our community." Dyersburg Municipal Golf Course Walker Poston Memorial gets upgrade
