Matthew 25:40 receives $100,000 federal grant to help homeless in Dyer County

This May, the Tennessee Housing Development Agency (THDA) awarded a $100,000 federal Emergency Solutions Grant to Matthew 25:40 to assist those impacted by homelessness in Dyer County. DSCC receives $440,000 in student support services grants

Dyersburg State Community College was the recent recipient of two Student Support Services (SSS) grants through Federal TRIO Programs with the U.S. Department of Education on Aug. 14. The grants, totaling $440,000, will be distributed to DSCC each year for the next five years and are specifically aimed at helping college students that come from disadvantaged backgrounds to graduate and possibly transfer to a four-year university...

Church partners with Habitat for Humanity to provide lumber

Cumberland Presbyterian Church (CPC) has partnered with Habitat for Humanity (HFH) to help fund the building of a house for Velitia Hillsman. During the month of August CPC had a two-by-four sale.
