Trimble to host first 'Trick or Treating from Trunk to Trunk' event

On Halloween day, Oct. 31, Trimble will be hosting its very first 'Trick or Treating from Trunk to Trunk' at Parks Plaza in downtown Trimble. Events begin at 5:30 p.m., and will include a variety of fun activities for the whole family including face painting, a creepy candy walk, games, bobbing for apples, hotdogs, hot chocolate, popcorn and more. Free for all ages, everyone in the community is invited to come out with their little guys and ghouls to join in the festivities...

TCAT holds Annual Fall Food Drive

Beginning Nov. 2, 2015, the Tennessee College of Applied Technology in Newbern will be presenting their SkillsUSA Annual Fall Food Drive. Donations for the event can be dropped off at the school. Asking only for unexpired canned goods or non-perishable food items, TCAT encourages residents of the area to make a contribution. All proceeds for the event will go toward the benefit of local food banks. The deadline for this event will be Dec. 8 at 10 a.m...
