Truman Raynor "Ray" Dunevant, 52, of Dyersburg, passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at his residence. He was known to many as "Uncle Ray Ray". Ray was a retired master carpenter. Cable ONE, city, county announce launch of new GigaONE service

Phoenix, Ariz. -- Cable ONE, Dyer County, and the City of Dyersburg announced Monday that Dyer County and Dyersburg will be able to lay claim to the title "Gig city" with the 2016 launch of GigaONE, the company's new Gigabit service. Chimes for Charity finishes week with $38,000 in donations

Sponsored by First Citizens National Bank, Saturday night's Chimes for Charity was a great success. Thanks to the wonderful representatives of FCNB, donations received totaled $12,313 -- the highest all week! Just a reminder, the funds raised from the auction will all go toward a Christmas party that will be hosted for local children on Dec. 20 at Three Oaks Middle School. What a wonderful celebration!

Goodfellows celebrates 70 years of goodwill, giving to those in need

The Christmas season brings many traditions to mind. This holiday season marks the 70th year that the Dyersburg Kiwanis Club has sponsored Goodfellows to provide food to needy families. When the program began in 1945, the club budgeted $200 to provide food baskets to 50 families. In 2015, the club will provide food to over 450 needy families...

Love's Travel Stop still on track for opening this spring

Dyersburg residents can't help but notice all the dirt-moving equipment on the construction site of the new Love's Truck Stop, just across from the Cracker Barrel on Hwy 78.
