Jackson State signs Lady Trojan Madison Caldwell for Spring 2017

For an athlete with the decision regarding where they want to continue their athletic career at the next level, that choice can weigh on them during their senior year. However, Dyersburg's Madison Caldwell will not have that problem as she got that choice out of the way on Friday, signing to continue her softball career with the Jackson State Lady Generals in the spring of 2017.

Qualls presents county school board with outline for applicant search

The Dyer County Board of Education met Thursday afternoon with Tennessee Education and Management Services owner Wayne Qualls, who has recently been contracted by the board to find a replacement for Superintendent Dr. Dwight Hedge, who has announced his plans for retirement after 38 years of dedicated service to the county school board.
