Jowers honored with 'Star of Life' award

The Dyer County Rescue Squad was in the spotlight on Thursday as Roger Jowers, a first responder on the squad, was honored with the prestigious "Star of Life" award. The Star of Life Award was originally given in December 2012 and presented to numerous organizations and individuals in Dyer County who helped save the life of Nolan Gregory, who went into cardiac arrest while at school. As a result of their life-saving efforts, Nolan fully recovered and is living a very normal life even today...
