Lady Trojans fall after Crockett County fourth-quarter rally

After falling behind midway through the third quarter, the Lady Trojans rallied to take a three-point lead into the final eight minutes before a dominating stretch by the Lady Cavaliers helped Crockett County hand Dyersburg a 37-31 defeat in the District 13AA Consolation Game on Saturday night at Milan High School.

Munford rally ends Lady Choctaws' district title hopes

The Lady Choctaws stormed out of the gates in the second half, leading by as much as eight during the third quarter. But, with Dyer County's offense playing conservatively in the fourth frame, Munford returned the favor in the final eight minutes. The Lady Cougars limited the Lady Choctaws to just a pair of free throws while rallying to take the District 13AAA title 32-31 on Monday night at Brighton High School.
