Railroad requirements complicate sewer connection for Miller Properties

The City of Dyersburg Water, Gas and Sewer Committee convened at 9 a.m. Thursday, July 7 at City Hall. The purpose for this meeting was to consider and discuss sewer connection options for Miller Properties at their 1010 East Court property. The city's intention is not to deny service, but to provide it in the most economical way possible.

Downtown merchants to host Junkin' & Jam event on Aug. 5

It's that time of the year again, as local downtown businesses are beginning to gear up for this year's Junkin' & Jam 'Vintiques and Vittles' event! Kicking off on Aug. 5, from 5p.m.-9p.m., this year's event will include something for everyone, as downtown Dyersburg will be featuring over 75 combined merchants, antique vendors, service providers, non-profit thrift stores, and restaurants.

County amends budget, potential tax hike reduced by 3.5 cents
