Sweet potatoes harvest unusual shapes

Marva Edwards brought these white sweet potatoes by the State Gazette. They were planted and grown in her cousin’s garden in Friendship. She noted the irregular shapes of the potatoes and said that one reminded her of a duck, and one a snake. ‘We grew these like we’ve done every year,’ said Edwards. ‘I have no idea why they grew this way.’
