Dyersburg moves up to No. 2 in latest AP poll

With the Trojans currently enjoying the most success the program has had in the last 30 years, Dyersburg inched another step closer to the top spot in the Class AA polls, moving up one spot to No. 2 in the polls released today.

Trojan running back Hopkins signs to play with Bethel

A big week for the Dyersburg High School football team’s backfield came to a close on Saturday afternoon as running back Cam’Ron Hopkins became the second member of the backfield to sign to play at the college level, signing scholarship papers with Bethel University in McKenzie.

Bellevue ends Three Oaks unbeaten streak in sectional title game

The Three Oaks girls saw their hopes of a West Sectional championship as well as an unbeaten season come to an end on Monday night as the Lady Choctaw team that rarely trailed during the first 21 games of the season never got on top of Bellevue, as the Lady Bobcats defeated Three Oaks 44-26 in the finals of the West Sectional Tournament in Memphis on Monday night.

Scouts build grill area for Transitions

Transitions has once again been blessed with an Eagle Scout Service Project. Boy Scout Billy Bona attained the rank of Eagle Scout after planning, organizing, leading, and managing the establishment of an outdoor Grill Spot. Residents love to grill out and the addition of this new Grill Spot complete with brick wall for protection and benches/picnic table has put smiles on many faces.
