DCHS Drama presents production of ’12 Angry Jurors’, show starts tonight

From Thursday, March 9-11, Dyer County High School drama club will be presenting its latest production entitled, ‘12 Angry Jurors’, an adaptation of Reginald Rose’s film ‘12 Angry Men’, which was originally released on Sept. 20, 1954 before later being rereleased in 1957, starring Henry Fonda.

DCHS student selected to Tenn. Governor’s School for Ag Sciences

Recently, Dyer County High School FFA junior student Kelsea Koonce, daughter of Shari and Barry Cottrell and David Koonce, was selected to attend the 2017 Tennessee Governor’s School for Ag Sciences [TGSAS] at UT-Martin, where she will work alongside a large group consisting of other talented Tennessee youth while expanding her knowledge and skills in the field of agriculture.

DHS dance squad places 4th at nationals

The Dyersburg High School dance team competed in the National Dance Alliance (NDA) National Championship held on March 3 - 5. Over 300 teams across the country participated in the competition in various categories, which was held at Universal Orlando’s Hard Rock Live in Florida. The DHS dance team competed in the Small Varsity Pom division along with over 30 other teams.
