ABWA ‘Girl’s Night Out’ set for April 20

On April 20, from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. Dyersburg’s Southern Accent Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association will present its 7th annual ‘Girl’s Night Out’ event inside of the DSCC gymnasium, providing ladies with an night of shopping, food, friends, and fun! Online registration is available at https://abwa-gno17.eventbrite.com. Admission for the event is $5 a person. Advanced tickets will be entered for a special donor prize. Dogwood Pedals and Blooms bike ride welcomes cycling enthusiasts

Early Saturday morning, 44 participants of the 2017 Dogwood Pedals and Blooms bike ride made their way to the Dyer County Fairgrounds. Preparing to embark on routes varying in lengths of 20, 30, and 65 miles, riders spent the majority of time prior to the ride’s commencement stretching their limbs and greeting fellow riders, some of which traveled hundreds of miles to participate in the annual event.

Dyersburg drops two in final day of annual Easter Slam Tournament

Choctaws outduel Munford to give Ozment career win No. 400

With a leg up on earning first place in the district on the line on Monday night, it was only fitting for the Choctaws and Cougars to battle through a classic matchup as Dyer County starter Cam Barlow dueled it out with Munford’s Austin Coursar for seven innings before the Choctaws snatched the lead in the top of the eighth then held on in the bottom of the frame for a 1-0 win at Munford.
