On the third day of a grueling stretch of baseball, the Dyersburg State Eagles made school history as back-to-back fourth-inning homeruns from Ladarius Williams and Hagen Severance set the tone for the final six innings of the game as the Eagles – the No. 2 team in the country – took their proper postseason place, punching their ticket to the NJCAA World Series for the first time in school history with an 11-3 win over East Georgia State in the East Central District title game on Friday at Dyersburg State.
