Winners announced from Dyersburg Dog Park silent auction fundraiser

Saturday evening, Dyer County Leadership members Meghan Douglass and Brian Gilbert were on site at BBQFest to promote fundraising efforts for the Dyersburg Dog Park. Bids for the organization’s silent auction were accepted at the Chamber of Commerce from July 25-29.

TCAT receives visit from Congressman Kustoff

On Monday morning, Congressman David Kustoff, who serves Tennessee’s 8th Congressional District, visited the Tennessee College of Applied Technology (TCAT) in Newbern. Upon arrival, Kustoff and his team met with TCAT Newbern faculty and instructors as well as local officials, including Dyer County Mayor Chris Young, County Commissioner John Uitendaal, and City of Dyersburg Alderman Bob Kirk, in the institution’s conference room.
