Trojans overcome early deficit to beat Brighton

On a picture-postcard perfect evening, when Mother Nature discarded the dog days of summer and teased us with a cool, gentle breeze, the Dyersburg Trojans entertained the Cardinals from Brighton at J.C. Sawyers Stadium. The visitors landed a couple of early haymakers but the Trojans and the Dyersburg staff didn’t flinch. With the home stands filled to near capacity, the Black and Gold battled from behind to clip the Cardinals’ wings 37-26.
