Enrollment for Master Gardener class now under way

Signups for this fall’s Master Gardener Class are now underway. Classes will be held Sept. 19-Nov. 30 at the Dyer County Complex Auditorium on Tuesday and some Thursdays (schedule will depend on class input) from 5:30 p.m. until 8:15 p.m. Topics covered in the course include: basic botany, soil, and soil water irrigation, landscape design, urban forestry, turf grasses, pesticides, insects around home and garden, vegetable gardening, plant diseases, herbaceous plants, woody ornamentals and more. ...
