Forrest Street rezoning denied at city planning meeting

The City of Dyersburg Municipal-Regional Planning Commission convened Thursday morning for their regular monthly meeting. The only item of new business on the agenda was that of a rezoning request resubmitted by Commissioner Sherry Guthrie, which was on the agenda last month, however withdrawn to further explain their desires and to get resident feedback. The request was to rezone property located near the intersection of Forrest Street and Chandler Drive from P-B (Planned Business) District to M-1 (Light Industrial) District.

The McIver’s Grant Library Foundation is now accepting investments as donations. “Chad Davis, owner of Davis Wealth Services educated us on the ability of an investor to donate stocks, bonds, mutual funds, etc., directly to the Library Foundation.
