Dyersburg First United Methodist Church to celebrate 175 years

On Sunday, Oct. 15 at 10 a.m., Dyersburg First United Methodist Church (FUMC), located at the corner of McGaughey Street and North Main Avenue, will hold an anniversary celebration recognizing the church’s 175-year existence. The congregation, which dates back to 1842, will join together to remember the past, enjoy the present, and embrace the future of God’s love as well as to worship and celebrate accomplishments made possible through God and His followers.
