Despite losses to graduation which included two multi-year all-state players as well as two more regular starters, the Lady Trojans continued a tradition the Dyersburg High School volleyball team began nearly a decade ago as the black and gold netters swept Ripley in three sets to advance to the Class AA State Tournament for the ninth straight year.

First ‘Uncorked’ event to benefit Matthew 25:40

On Thursday, Oct. 19, the first Uncorked event will occur with part of the proceeds benefitting Matthew 25:40 Inc. The evening, centering on the sampling of wine, whiskey, cigars, craft beer as well as music, will take place at the Burks Estate, located at 2045 Pennell Lane from 5:30-9 p.m. Tickets are currently on sale and are $30 each or 2 for $50.
