With the end of the first week of the 2018 preseason approaching, both the Dyersburg Trojans and Dyer County Choctaws got some of their final snaps and reps in for the week during Dyersburg’s annual Lineman Challenge/7-on-7 competition on Thursday morning at J.C. Sawyers Stadium.

Oakwood to participate in 719 project

Oakwood Community Living Center is set to participate in the 719 Project, which encourages people of all ages to mature in faith by reaching out to people who may not have the ability to reach back. The initiative is to answer the cry of David, who encouraged people of faith to not forget about the aging population, which is derived in Psalm 71:9 and states, “Do not cast me away when I am old and do not forsake me when my strength is gone.”
