Former Chimes chairman pleads guilty to theft

On Tuesday afternoon in Dyer County Circuit Court, former Chimes for Charity Chairman Kim Walker Hill pled guilty to theft charges. Hill, originally indicted in February of 2017 on a charge of Theft over $60,000, a Class B felony, entered a best interest plea on Tuesday to Theft over $10,000, a Class C felony which carries a sentence range of 3-6 years in prison. The indictment was amended from the original charge due to evidence showing the amount was less than $60,000, according to District Attorney Danny Goodman.
