Even though it is hard to see these dogs leave after Shelter staff gets attached to them, the thought that the rescue will find a great home for them makes it a celebration...

Annual Duckfest event set for Saturday

The ninth annual Dyersburg Duckfest event will be held at the Dyer County Fairgrounds Saturday morning, Aug. 4, from 7 a.m. to noon. The event is free to the public and is held in conjunction with the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency’s annual duck blind drawings for Tigrett WMA. The TWRA has held the drawing at the fairgrounds for many years.
