Dyer County volleyball dominates third set to complete sweep of Chester County

Election Commission OKs petitions; city employee removed from candidate list

DPD seeks assistance in finding theft suspects

On Friday, August 24, Dyersburg Police responded to a complaint of a large theft of mufflers and tail pipes from Ace Muffler & Exhaust, located at 1028 East Court Street. Officers determined over $3,000 worth of items were taken during the theft, and a video of the incident was recorded by a surveillance camera. Officers determined a black male suspect took the items from the business. CID Detectives were able to identify two suspects, Charles E. Butler, 28, of 101 Lake Street in Newbern and Lashaunte Halliburton, 30, of 2230 St. John in Dyersburg.
