Lady Trojan Welch wins region title; Choctaws place third

For the third time in her high school career, Lady Trojan junior golfer Erin Welch will be heading to the state tournament in Manchester – which begins next Tuesday – but this time it will be as a region champion as Welch claimed her first Region 7 Large championship on Monday afternoon at Pickwick Landing State Park Golf Course.
