All members of the board, along with the DES Executive Management Team, were present. With no old business, DES President and CEO Stephen Lane presented the lone item of new business listed on the agenda, a bad-debt charge-off.

Union Mission provides Thanksgiving meal, gift certificates for families

New Life Union Mission provided Thanksgiving food to 178 family units on Tuesday, Nov. 20, at two morning programs including a time of fellowship, devotion and prayer. The Mission also provided a Thanksgiving meal of turkey and dressing and all of the trimmings on Wednesday. Neal Chatham (left) and Ned Lewis (above) led the devotion and prayer times.
