With a strong fourth-quarter performance, the Dyersburg Middle School boys ended their week on a positive note, defeating visiting Martin Middle 43-33 on Thursday night at DMS. Though the Trojans gave up 10 points in the first six minutes, DMS got a three-pointer as well as another bucket from Malik McLin as well as tallies from Thad Hill and Jaylon Brown to keep it close as they trailed 10-9 after one frame. ...

Mrs. Virginia Bloodworth, age 79, of Dyersburg, TN, formerly of Hickman, KY, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, December 12, 2018. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Church of God in Hickman, KY. St. Jude Cash Run set Saturday

Mission receives toy donation

City planners review amendment for indoor shooting range; resolution to go before county

On Thursday, Dec. 13, the Dyersburg Municipal-Regional Planning Commission convened at 10 a.m. inside the Municipal Building Courtroom. All members of the commission were present. Following the approval of the previous meeting minutes, the agenda turned to new business including a review of a text amendment to a resolution to adopt indoor shooting standards in the Dyersburg Planning Region.
