DMS boys end regular season strong over Medina

Though the Dyersburg Middle School boys saw their 11-point halftime lead shrink to just a point late in the third quarter, the DMS Trojans stormed back to end the game strong, outscoring South Gibson 16-6 over the final quarter and change to take a 44-33 win over the Hornets on Monday night in Dyersburg.

Man injured following 2 vehicle accident on Hwy. 51

On Tuesday, January 15, shortly after 2 p.m., the Tennessee Highway Patrol responded to a 2 vehicle accident. The vehicles involved included a tractor-trailer, driven by Anes Okic, 27, of Mount Clemons, Michigan and a red pickup truck, driven by James Walker, 71, of Henning, Tennessee. The tractor-trailer was owned by Blue Sky Transport of Sterling Heights, Mich. Walker was also pulling a trailer loaded with feed.
