Preliminary hearing set for alleged attempted murder, assault suspect

William Keith Jernigan, Jr. 32, of Dyersburg appeared in Dyersburg City Court on Friday, June 7 before Judge Dean Dedmon on multiple alleged charges consisting of attempted first-degree murder, 2 counts of domestic aggravated assault, and interfering with an emergency call. Jernigan was set a $250,000 bond on May 20, and following Friday’s appearance, a preliminary hearing was set for Friday, June 28 at 9 a.m.
