Claiborne discusses D-Day invasion, return to Normandy for 75th anniversary

It was on June 6, 1944, the course of the World War II changed forever, as roughly 156,000 allied forces took the coast of Normandy resulting in the liberation of Western Europe from Nazi Germany. The D-Day Invasion would be noted as the largest amphibious military assault in history, codenamed, Operation Overlord.
