Dyersburg preparing for World Series on Saturday

After winning the Tennessee Dixie Jr. Boys State Tournament on their home field back on July 14, the Dyersburg All-Stars have been busy this past week getting ready to make their trip east to Aiken, S.C. next week to take part in the 2019 Dixie Junior Boys World Series, which kicks off Aug. 3.

She was a member of Parr Avenue Church of Christ and an avid bridge and canasta card player. Mrs. Boatright was retired from General Appliance and Furniture Company as the bookkeeper for 47 years...
