Dyersburg Board OKs state-requested resolution amendment, saves $500,000 in city’s wastewater facility project

On Monday evening, the Dyersburg Board of Mayor and Alderpersons convened for their regularly scheduled meeting. The agenda contained 3 items of new business, as well as 1 item of unfinished business, consisting of an amended resolution request from the state, which would ultimately result in the City having a principal debt forgiveness of $500,000 for work performed at the wastewater facility.

Edward Thomas Andresen, Jr., 66, of Newbern, died Saturday, September 14, 2019 at Methodist South in Whitehaven. Born December 18, 1952, he was the son of the late Edward Thomas, Sr. and Beverly Diklich Andresen. He was retired.
