Trojan miscues prove pivotal in loss to Liberty, 36-22

Entering Friday night's contest on the road against Liberty in Jackson, Dyersburg looked to end a five-game losing streak when facing the Crusaders. The game, played in soggy conditions due to a steady downpour from start to finish, provided several offensive and defensive highlights for both teams. In the end, turnovers were the story for Dyersburg, especially in the second half as the Trojans dropped their sixth straight contest, falling 36-22.

Rain only briefly slows Choctaws in blowout win

The Choctaws had some issues with the rain early on, but once Dyer County got those solved, the orange and white cruised to a 53-0 win over West Creek on Friday night in Clarksville to secure the second seed out of Region 7-5A for the upcoming playoffs.
