Annaleigh Renee Escobar, 17, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital. Annaleigh was a leader, and she used her leadership skills in multiple areas. She was a Dyer County 4-H Honor Club member, Western Region 4-H All Star, Dyer County 4-H Healthy Living Ambassador, selected to 2019-2020 Tennessee State 4-H Council, Tennessee Strong Ambassador for the State of Tennessee Department of Health, President of Dyer County Youth Health Council, member of DCHS FFA and member of DCHS FFA Floriculture CCM. ...

Community Cancer Fund receives over $15,500 in donations from businesses

Following the Dyer County Community Cancer Fund’s BBQ for Cancer event, the organization received donations from numerous local businesses totaling over $15,500. Funds will be used for the benefit of Dyer County cancer patients undergoing treatment.
