Gov. Lee, TDEC announce $2.5 million wastewater loan for Dyersburg

Local men bound over to grand jury in extortion case

the grand jury after a preliminary hearing held in Dyer County General Sessions Court. Mark Morgan and Charles “Sam” Kelly Jr. were arrested in September on the charge after reportedly taking $25,000 from local businessmen Darrell Sells. The pair were arrested after exiting The McDonald's office on Mall Boulevard as part of a “sting” operation that involved the Dyer County Sheriff's Office, as well the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
