Newbern Depot prepares to host fourth annual Polar Express event

TDOT makes improvements to Lake Road, Bypass intersection

For those travelling through Dyersburg, many may have noticed the recent improvements made at the Lake Road and Highway 51 Bypass intersection. The improvements were part of a project, conducted by the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT), and officially wrapped up on November 30. According to Nichole Lawrence, TDOT Region 4 Community Relations Officer, the purpose of the project at the intersection was to complete the sidewalk area around the bypass and Lake Road, as well as making the intersection safer and ADA compliant.

Community Project Fund hosts fundraiser to benefit local children

The Dyer County Community Project Fund is once again hosting its annual Christmas stocking fundraiser, a holiday initiative created to help provide holiday gifts to underprivileged children in the area. To date, the organization has received over $2,000 in cash and donated goods combined.

Dyersburg residential, curbside pick-up days to change
