Historical Society and McIver’s Grant partner to present ‘Chasin’ Gus’ Ghost’

On Tuesday, January 14, the Dyer County Historical Society will partner with McIver’s Grant Public Library to present portions of a documentary film of local significance. "Chasin’ Gus’ Ghost" is a documentary film on the history of jug band music. The longest in-district trip for the Dyer County teams was a wet one, but the fans who headed down to Savannah were treated to a back-and-forth battle between the Lady Choctaws and Hardin County early on and that continued well into the second half before a late run by the Lady Tigers helped the home team hand the orange and white girls a 73-65 defeat in the District 13AAA opener.
