Long, hot day ends with big inning, state title for Dyersburg

A hot Sunday afternoon turned into a busy one for the Dyersburg National League All-Stars as the team played three times on the final day of the Tennessee Dixie Boys State Tournament, ending after 10 p.m. with a 10-3 win over Dickson County in the second championship of the night to take the state title.

ABWA raises over $3,000 for DSCC Scholarship Fund; Girls Night Out Holiday Mart Aug. 27

Over the previous year, the chapter raised a total of $3,253 for the fund. Dyer County surpasses 300 total COVID-19 cases, 165 cases active

DC Sluggers fall to Halls in Junior Boys State Championship Game

After falling in the opening game of the tournament on Friday afternoon, the DC Sluggers fought their way back into the Junior Boys state title game on Sunday and even forced a second championship contest before falling to Halls 15-1 in the final game at the Ed Wright Baseball Complex in Dyersburg.
