Train strikes semi carrying farm equipment at Newbern crossing

YMCA's emergency child care extended to Newbern

The YMCA of Dyer County's emergency child care for essential workers, which lasts until school starts back, has a third site which has limited openings. The third site is being hosted by First Baptist Church in Newbern. The program runs Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. until about 6 p.m. and is for children ages 5-12. Dyer County Election Commission set to safely begin early voting
