TSSAA votes for eight-game regular season

The TSSAA Board of Control met on Wednesday afternoon at Seigel High School in Murfreesboro where they approved the contingency plan for the 2020 football season. The board members approved the second of the four options presented earlier this month to the board with a hybrid plan deviation included, which includes an eight-game regular season. This applies should the executive order from Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee remain in place.

Creed was born on July 2, 1976 in Dyersburg, TN to William Dean III and Harolyn Hurd Jones. He was a cook with the Food Service Industry and was an Eagle Scout. Dunavant offers insight on Marsy’s Law for Tennessee

On Wednesday, July 22, Marianne Dunavant, Victim Outreach Director for Marsy’s Law for Tennessee, was the guest speaker at the Dyersburg Kiwanis Club meeting, held at the Lupo’s Event Center. Dunavant shared insight on the proposed Marsy’s Law, which would strengthen the rights of crime victims in Tennessee’s state constitution.
