Dyer County COVID-19 update for October 27

With the release of the Tennessee Department of Health’s (TDH) daily COVID-19 update on Tuesday, the department reported Dyer County as having a total of 2,285 COVID-19 cases, which consist of confirmed and probable cases. Additionally, the TDH said that Dyer County had 352 active cases with 1,898 recoveries/inactive cases.

Republican bus tour makes stop in Dyersburg

On Tuesday, numerous Republican representatives, including local representation consisting of State Senator Ed Jackson and State Representative Rusty Grills as well as Tennessee House Speaker Cameron Sexton, visited Dyersburg to encourage residents to vote in the upcoming election. The stop was part of the Republican Road to Victory Bus Tour and began at 11:30 a.m. outside of Pennington Seed and Supply Company on South Mill Ave.
