Bond set at $150K for accused Newbern shooting suspect

On Monday morning, November 9, Terence Jamal Robinson, 32, was arraigned in Newbern City Court and issued a $150,000 bond. Robinson was charged with first-degree murder following a shooting incident on October 25, which resulted in the death of 49-year-old Robert Brandon.

Dyer County COVID-19 update for November 9

With the release of the Tennessee Department of Health’s (TDH) daily COVID-19 update on Monday, the department reported Dyer County as having a total of 2,648 COVID-19 cases, which consist of confirmed and probable cases. Additionally, the TDH said that Dyer County had 320 active cases with 2,289 recoveries/inactive cases.
