Local veterans recognized with mobile parade

On Veterans Day, November 11, area veterans were recognized with a mobile parade organized by local veteran organizations. The parade, occurring at 11 a.m., consisted of over a dozen vehicles showcasing the American flag and the flags from numerous military branches, as well as spotlighting area veterans.

Dyer County COVID-19 update for November 11

With the release of the Tennessee Department of Health’s (TDH) daily COVID-19 update on Wednesday, the department reported Dyer County as having a total of 2,698 COVID-19 cases, which consist of confirmed and probable cases. Additionally, the TDH said that Dyer County had 285 active cases with 2,369 recoveries/inactive cases.
