Dyer County COVID-19 update for November 23

With the release of the Tennessee Department of Health’s (TDH) daily COVID-19 update on Monday, the department reported Dyer County as having a total of 3,086 COVID-19 cases, which consist of confirmed and probable cases. Additionally, the TDH said that Dyer County had 331 active cases with 2,706 recoveries/inactive cases.

Dyersburg men arrested on weapon, drug charges following traffic stop

On Saturday, November 21 at 6:04 p.m., Dyersburg Police conducted a traffic stop, which resulted in the arrests of Jameereo Spain, 25, and Cedric Moses, Jr., 23, both of Dyersburg, for numerous charges including drug possession and firearm possession.
