Dyer County COVID-19 update for January 22

With the release of the Tennessee Department of Health’s (TDH) daily COVID-19 update on Friday, the department reported Dyer County as having a total of 4,833 COVID-19 cases, which consist of confirmed and probable cases. Additionally, the TDH said that Dyer County had 270 active cases with 4,477 recoveries/inactive cases. The total number of deaths due to the virus was listed at 86.

Trojans fall to Chargers after buzzer beater

Dyersburg led for the first 31 minutes of action on Friday night in their District 13AA battle with Westview, but the game went down to the wire as a last-second three-pointer gave the Chargers a 45-43 win over the Trojans (6-9, 1-3) to spoil Homecoming 2021.
