Dyersburg planners OK Cobblestone subdivision, shoppe plans

On Thursday morning, February 11, the Dyersburg Municipal-Regional Planning Commission convened electronically at 10 a.m. Commissioners reviewed two items of new business – the voting upon the final plats for Cobblestone Village subdivision and The Shoppes at Cobblestone off Millsfield Highway – as well as held the annual election of officers.

TDOT study: Dyersburg Regional Airport contributes $4.7M to state’s economy

Nashville, Tenn. – The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) has completed a yearlong Statewide Aviation Economic Impact Study, finding Tennessee’s public-use airports contribute $40 billion to the state’s economy and supports 220,936 jobs in Tennessee. Dyersburg Street Department works to clear roadways following winter storm

Following the winter ice storm that hit Dyersburg early Thursday morning, February 11, crewmembers of the Dyersburg Street Department spent nearly 14 hours salting and clearing city roadways. According to City Street Department Supervisor Mike McCulloch, he and his team arrived at Public Works 3 a.m. Thursday morning prior to the ice storm making its presence.
