Key Corner NSDAR place flags at courthouse

In honor and in memory of the servicemen and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country, Key Corner NSDAR held a short program on May 28 and placed several hundred flags around the Dyer County Courthouse. Children helping Key Corner NSDAR were (pictured left) Kate Allen Bird, Miller Baker, Olivia Caldwell, Charlie Caldwell, Reed Young, Bailee Bird, Lynlee Young, Jace Cantu, and Jaden Cantu. Additionally, Jaden Cantu led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance (pictured right). The flags will remain at the courthouse until Flag Day, June 14.

At the Shelter

The Shelter has had a population explosion and is straining at the seams. There are currently 42 deserving animals waiting to be adopted at the Shelter. The Shelter has had to get temporary cages out to handle the load. Please consider being the source of love and comfort for at least one of our fur babies, especially those who are older and those with special needs. ...
