Former Choctaw standout Pugh named Three Oaks boys coach

Much like the girls program did in late May, the Three Oaks boys basketball team looked to the Choctaw family for its next coach as former Dyer County standout Malik Pugh was recently announced as the new head coach for TOMS Choctaws hoops.

Dyersburg, Choctaws open summer workouts

With the start of the 2021 Tennessee High School Football Season 76 days away, gridiron teams from Dyersburg and Dyer County got their preparation for the upcoming campaign underway this week as players reported for morning workouts on Tuesday following the Memorial Day holiday.

DA, DPD to seek injunctions to curtail violence

Historical Society to feature courthouse history at next meeting

Newbern native and farmer Rusty Grills is currently in his first term as District 77 State Representative. In his first year, Grills has led, carried, and passed numerous bills while in Nashville. County board of education approves policies in first reading
