DOT Foods makes donation to St. Jude after Crawford sinks free throws

Dyersburg Lady Trojan freshman Joya Crawford (third from left) sank four free throws to earn a $4,000 donation to St. Jude Children’s Hospital from DOT Foods on Saturday night during the District 13AAA Tournament in the Terry Glover Gymnasium. On hand for the check presentation were (from left) DHS Principal Kamela Rogers, DOT Foods Human Resource Manager Chad Webb, Joya Crawford and DOT Foods General Manager Matt Duggan.

Lady Trojans fall to Obion County Central in District 13AAA Consolation Game

GABRIEL JACKSON Special to the State Gazette The Dyersburg Lady Trojans met the Obion Lady Rebels in the consolation game of the District 13AAA Tournament Monday night. Dyersburg began with a slow first half only scoring six points. However, the Lady Trojans came out stronger out of the break as they were able to stay competitive with the Lady Rebels, only being outscored 25-21 in the second half. ...

Dyer County falls to Crockett County in 13AAA title game

In a low-scoring game where points and possessions were at a premium, Dyer County’s girls struggled shooting the ball through much of the District 13AAA Championship Game on Monday night in Dyersburg as Crockett County capitalized to take the title 44-38 after losing twice to the Lady Choctaws in the regular season.
