Trojans avenge loss to Rebels; take third with consolation win

The Dyersburg Trojans faced off against the Obion County Rebels in Dyersburg Tuesday night. The Trojans started the game off hot, leading by double digits for most of the first half. Obion had a late fourth-quarter run to bring the game to within just two points with 10 seconds left in the game, but Meshach Jones sealed the win with two free throws as the Trojans won 57-53.

Choctaws rally in second half to take district title

Despite being down by double figures at the half, the Dyer County boys (12-12) clawed their way back from the deficit and got strong third and fourth quarters to take a 67-62 victory over Crockett County to win the District 13AAA Championship Game on Tuesday night at Dyersburg High School.

THP to hold driver’s license checkpoint
